On October 30, 2024, an officer with the San Antonio Police Department responded to an apartment on 327 West Sunset Road after receiving a report of animal cruelty.

The officer met with the girlfriend of 21-year-old RAYMOND JULES BOMHACK IV (pictured).

The woman told the officer that while she was at work, she spoke with BOMHACK and he told her that he attempted to cuddle Wolfie, one of her two cats, and Wolfie “became agitated” and scratched him.

According to the report obtained by Voice For Us, BOMHACK told his girlfriend that he hit Wolfie in the head causing a red spot in one of his eyes.

The woman told the officer that due to BOMHACK’s “mental health history of suicidal ideations,” she left work and went home. She said BOMHACK’s arms were “covered in multiple scratch marks” from her two cats.

BOMHACK claimed that after hitting Wolfie, he wanted to bathe both cats and that’s when he was scratched.

The woman told the officer that due to BOMHACK’s “erratic behavior” he may have tried to drown Wolfie or her other cat.

She said she found Wolfie hidden in her room with his jaw stuck open and drooling. At that point she asked BOMHACK to leave her apartment and she took Wolfie to an emergency veterinary center.

The officer then met with the veterinarian who examined Wolfie and learned that when the furvictim was brought in, he had a “noticeable facial trauma.” The vet told the officer that X-Rays revealed that Wolfie had “a dislocated jaw, pooling of blood to one eye, and swelling to the nose and mouth” and had to undergo surgery.

The vet advised the officer that the total medical care cost was $858.12.

BOMHACK was arrested on November 9, 2024, and charged with felony animal cruelty. He was released from the Bexar County Jail after posting bond.

I have been sitting on this story for a few days hoping to get a response from the San Antonio Police Department and Animal Services regarding an update on Wolfie’s well-being.

I would have liked to tell you more about it and share his pictures. Should I get a response, I will post an update.

Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar held a press conference on January 4, 2023, during which he gave details of a horrific animal cruelty case for which 24-years-old KAMRYN D’MIYA MCKEE (pictured), was arrested.

Sheriff Salazar said that the day before, a call came in reporting a foul odor emanating from an apartment in the 5000 block of Mansions Bluff heading towards Castroville.

Responding officers met with Bexar County Animal Control and with the assistance of maintenance staff, they were able to enter the apartment.

Inside the apartment, officials found a dog who was severely malnourished as well as the extremely decomposed remains of a Pitbull.

After making contact with MCKEE, she was questioned about the dogs and she had the nerve to say that she had last seen them on January 1, 2024, and they seemed fine.

According to Sheriff Salazar, MCKEE told investigators she had stopped by to give them food and water before she went to get her nails done.

Sheriff Salazar rightfully pointed out that the advanced stage of the decomposition of the deceased dog, and the level of malnourishment of the other dog, are an indication that MCKEE did not attend to the dogs on January 1, 2024, as she claimed!

The evil female was arrested for cruelty to a non-livestock animal, a third-degree felony.

She was booked into the Bexar County Jail and released after posting a $2,000 bond. Court records show a pre-hearing was scheduled for February 6, 2024.

I have emailed the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office and requested additional information about the Voiceless Victims. If I get a response, I will post an update. I took the liberty of naming the deceased furbaby Diamond for the tribute image. Should his/her given name be made public, I will rectify it accordingly.

On Tuesday, August 1, 2023, the San Antonio Police Department arrested 43-years-old ROBERT E. MARTINEZ (pictured) on a third-degree felony charge for cruelty to a non-livestock animal.

According to the arrest affidavit obtained by Voice For Us, the day before his arrest MARTINEZ was visiting his girlfriend at the Staybridge Suites hotel, on 56 Northeast Loop 410 when they got into an argument.

During the altercation MARTINEZ was being aggressive and throwing things around the room.

Police tell me that at one point MARTINEZ went into the kitchen, picked up his girlfriend’s kitten, and threw the furbaby in anger toward her but missed. The furbaby was later found “on the floor near the wall surrounded by blood.” The innocent soul died from the injuries he/she sustained as a result of being thrown.

Like a true coward, MARTINEZ fled the scene because individuals like him hit animals and women but do not face law enforcement!

Animal Control Services responded to the scene and recovered the body of the Voiceless Victim.

A warrant was then issued for MARTINEZ’s arrest and after he was located and placed under arrest, he was booked into the Bexar County Jail.

At this time of writing, records show MARTINEZ is being held on a $10,000 bond.

According to online court records, MARTINEZ is due in court on September 13, 2023.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.

I have requested additional information about the furvictim. I will post updates as they become available.
