Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar held a press conference on January 4, 2023, during which he gave details of a horrific animal cruelty case for which 24-years-old KAMRYN D’MIYA MCKEE (pictured), was arrested.

Sheriff Salazar said that the day before, a call came in reporting a foul odor emanating from an apartment in the 5000 block of Mansions Bluff heading towards Castroville.

Responding officers met with Bexar County Animal Control and with the assistance of maintenance staff, they were able to enter the apartment.

Inside the apartment, officials found a dog who was severely malnourished as well as the extremely decomposed remains of a Pitbull.

After making contact with MCKEE, she was questioned about the dogs and she had the nerve to say that she had last seen them on January 1, 2024, and they seemed fine.

According to Sheriff Salazar, MCKEE told investigators she had stopped by to give them food and water before she went to get her nails done.

Sheriff Salazar rightfully pointed out that the advanced stage of the decomposition of the deceased dog, and the level of malnourishment of the other dog, are an indication that MCKEE did not attend to the dogs on January 1, 2024, as she claimed!

The evil female was arrested for cruelty to a non-livestock animal, a third-degree felony.

She was booked into the Bexar County Jail and released after posting a $2,000 bond. Court records show a pre-hearing was scheduled for February 6, 2024.

I have emailed the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office and requested additional information about the Voiceless Victims. If I get a response, I will post an update. I took the liberty of naming the deceased furbaby Diamond for the tribute image. Should his/her given name be made public, I will rectify it accordingly.

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of 45-years-old WHITNEY FITZ-JOHN DAVIS (pictured).

In a media release, the sheriff’s office said that on January 4, 2024, deputies responded to a residence in the 13000 block of Tramonto Hill located in West Bexar County after they were alerted to multiple dogs at the location being malnourished.

When Patrol Deputies and the sheriff’s office Special Enforcement Unit arrived, they found five dogs who “appeared to be severely malnourished”, stated the release.

While walking around the residence, officials found it hard to breathe due to the strong odor of animal feces and ammonia throughout the residence that could be smelled from outside.

According to the release, DAVIS surrendered the dogs and they were immediately rushed to an animal hospital to be examined and treated.

DAVIS was placed under arrest and booked into the Bexar County Jail on cruelty to non-livestock animals charged.

Court records show that his arraignment is scheduled to take place on February 6, 2024.

Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said: “Animal Cruelty crimes are often linked to other crimes like domestic violence and even human trafficking. Please help us put a stop to the mistreatment of animals. Call us at (210) - 335 - GANG to report animal abuse.”

On Tuesday, August 1, 2023, the San Antonio Police Department arrested 43-years-old ROBERT E. MARTINEZ (pictured) on a third-degree felony charge for cruelty to a non-livestock animal.

According to the arrest affidavit obtained by Voice For Us, the day before his arrest MARTINEZ was visiting his girlfriend at the Staybridge Suites hotel, on 56 Northeast Loop 410 when they got into an argument.

During the altercation MARTINEZ was being aggressive and throwing things around the room.

Police tell me that at one point MARTINEZ went into the kitchen, picked up his girlfriend’s kitten, and threw the furbaby in anger toward her but missed. The furbaby was later found “on the floor near the wall surrounded by blood.” The innocent soul died from the injuries he/she sustained as a result of being thrown.

Like a true coward, MARTINEZ fled the scene because individuals like him hit animals and women but do not face law enforcement!

Animal Control Services responded to the scene and recovered the body of the Voiceless Victim.

A warrant was then issued for MARTINEZ’s arrest and after he was located and placed under arrest, he was booked into the Bexar County Jail.

At this time of writing, records show MARTINEZ is being held on a $10,000 bond.

According to online court records, MARTINEZ is due in court on September 13, 2023.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.

I have requested additional information about the furvictim. I will post updates as they become available.
