The Oklahoma Police Department announced the arrest of two juveniles in connection with horrifying videos showing them abusing two defenseless dogs.

Before the arrest, the videos in question were sent to News 9 and the news agency published them warning viewers about the graphic content. News 9 reported that the videos “showed two boys beating, throwing and stomping on two dogs.”

In view of the fact that the perpetrators, Deer Creek Middle School students, are minors, News 9 blurred their faces and distorted their voices.

In the first video, recorded inside of a vehicle, a terrified brown dog can be seen clinging onto a white dog in the middle of the backseat with the two juveniles sitting on each side of the backseat. At one point, the teens start punching the dogs. One of the two abusers say: “Stop trying to hide over Kingston” and smashed the brown dog onto the car floor.

The terrifying video goes on to show one of the abusers “standing on the backseat and stomping on the white dog's head and repeatedly punching the yelping animal while the other boy laughed and punched the dog as well,” reports News 9.

In the second video, the white dog can be seen hiding under the driver's seat of the as one of the abusers punched him/her in the mouth.

The voiceless victims can be heard yelping and crying in pain but that meant absolutely nothing to the evil teens who kept laughing and perpetrating the heinous act!

News 9 reports that Mitzi Brogdon, director of Street Dog Rescue and Recovery, alerted them about the incident.

According to the Oklahoma Police Department’s news release, on Sunday, April 2, 2023, several metro law enforcement agencies received calls regarding a video which surfaced online and that showed “two juveniles possibly abusing dogs, and also making threats toward a metro middle school.”

Attempts to track down the juveniles were unsuccessful.

Police also said that on Monday, April 3, 2023, another video surfaced online “making a threat toward a school.”

Officers were able to locate one of the two juveniles at his home and confiscated firearms as well.

On Tuesday, April 4, 2023, following additional information gathered on the second juvenile, officers took him also into custody.

OKC Animal Welfare executed a search warrant at the home where the dogs were being kept and three dogs were removed, including the two dogs who can be seen in the video enduring the senseless and despicable abuse.

Police did not disclose in which home the voiceless victims were found nor the relation to their abusers.

The good news is that all three dogs are expected to be ok.

According to police, both juveniles will face two counts of felony Animal Cruelty.

FOX 25 reports they attempted to reach out to the abusers’ parents but they were not available for comments.

Voice For Us believes that the system needs to be changed when it comes to juveniles who commit animal cruelty crimes. Their identities should not be hidden. They do not deserve to be protected!

I have reached out to Jennifer Denney, Deer Creek Middle School Media Specialist, for comments and if I receive a response, I will post it.

On Sunday, April 2, 2023, deputies with the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home off Thoreaus Way near Montgomery Drive in Northeast Bexar County after receiving a report about a dog chained to a tree with no food, water, or shade in the backyard of the residence.

Upon arrival, deputies found the dog, tied with a heavy tow chain about two feet long.

Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar described the voiceless victim as “basically skin and bones.” The dog looked like a German Shepherd mix but due to his/her malnourished condition, it was hard to tell his/her breed.

Sheriff Salazar said: “It was pretty clear that the dog was not doing well and was probably not going to survive much longer.”

Deputies then contacted the dog’s guardian identified as 36-years-old CESAR DEJESUS DEHOYOS (pictured), and waited for him to return home from SeaWorld.

According to Sheriff Salazar, DEHOYOS claimed the dog ran away for a while, returned malnourished, and he was trying to nurse him/her back to health.

It just seemed like a flat-out lie,” said Sheriff Salazar.

DEHOYOS was placed under arrest and charged with cruelty to non-livestock animals/torture, a third-degree felony.

The dog was taken to the veterinarian, and his/her condition is unknown. To this regard, I have emailed the sheriff’s office and if I receive a response I will update the article accordingly.

In the backyard deputies also found three other dogs. Two of them appeared to be German Shepherds and looked “very healthy,” said Sheriff Salazar. He suspects the dogs were being used for breeding. The other voiceless victim was a puppy and was malnourished.

DEHOYOS then surrendered the dogs.

Online records show DEHOYOS’ bond was set at $40,000 and he is no longer in custody.

He is due back in court on May 3, 2023.

A resident of Covington Drive in Deltona, captured on their security camera the incomprehensible abuse inflicted on a defenseless dog by a teenager.

Thankfully, the resident passed the footage onto Deltona Animal Control and the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office was able to arrest the 17-year-old male who can be seen in the video savagely attacking the dog unable to fight back.

According to a press release by the sheriff’s office, the video, timestamped the night of Tuesday, March 14, 2023, showed the male going into a neighbor’s yard to retrieve his dog after he/she ran away. “He picked up the dog by the neck and carried it back toward his house, where he lifted it in the air and slammed it to the ground. He straddled the dog, began punching it in the face and head again and again, then grabbed its head and slammed it into the ground multiple times. The video footage was accompanied by audio, which recorded the dog yelping during the abuse,” stated the release.

Deltona Animal Control took custody of the dog and took him/her to a local animal hospital for examination.

Deputies arrested the unnamed teenager and charged with aggravated animal cruelty. He was transported to the Family Resource Center for processing his charge. Following processing, he was released to his grandmother’s custody by the Department of Juvenile Justice.

The sheriff’s office said that “The defendant’s grandmother confirmed she witnessed the incident and informed deputies she told her grandson to stop hurting the dog. She said she disciplined her grandson after the incident.”

Note below in the gallery how the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office addressed the post: “*Warning to animal lovers: This post describes a felony animal abuse case*”, as if crime has a selective audience and animal cruelty should only interest those who love animals!
