The Cobb County Police Department arrested 31-years-old TIMORRA INSHALLA ROGO (pictured).

ROGO is accused of drowning her own dog who was found in the Chattahoochee River.

Mr. Stephen Hammond, Director of Cobb County Animal Services, tells me that the furvictim was discovered on July 11, 2023, “in the river near the boat ramp at Paces Mill Park by park workers.” Mr. Hammond explained that “...The river had been shut down due to contamination for about 10 days prior.”

He identified the furvictim as a 2-year-old male English Bulldog named Hodor.

Hodor was placed in a cage along with rocks with the evil intention of drowning the helpless soul. Mr. Hammond said: “Two rocks weighing about 8 pounds had been used to weigh down the cage.” Upon finding the cage, park workers alerted Animal Services and Hodor “was impounded as evidence.”

Hodor’s body was then sent to UGA for a necropsy. It took a while for the report to come back because there are so many animal cruelty cases that sadly have horrible endings. Results showed that Hodor died from drowning.

“Detective Whitley, our Animal Cruelty Investigator from the Cobb County Police Department took over the case and through his investigation was able to identify and locate the owner and perpetrator”, further explained Mr. Hammond.

ROGO was arrested on the late evening of April 18, 2024, and charged with felony aggravated cruelty to animals. At the time of writing, records show that ROGO is being held at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center. A Cobb County Judge denied bond.

Mr. Hammonds did not send me Hodor’s pictures as they are “too graphic to share.”

On April 22, 2024, a Valley Center School Resource Officer was approached by a Valley Center High School employee and advised that an allegation was made claiming the Valley Center Varsity Boys Baseball Team had killed a chicken on the field prior to traveling for an away game on April 20th, 2024.  The field is located on USD262 property behind 737 N. Meridian in Valley Center.

The Valley Center Police Department continues the investigation and will present the case to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office.

We encourage anyone who has information about the incident to contact the Valley Center Police Department.”

Updates will be added as they become available.

~ Original story:

The Valley Center school district has suspended the high school varsity baseball team’s season due to an active law enforcement investigation centered around possible animal cruelty.

KSNW reports that on Monday, April 22, 2024, the district sent out the following message to all Valley Center High School families:

The Valley Center High School varsity baseball season has been suspended due to an active law enforcement investigation. High school administrators were alerted to an incident of possible animal cruelty involving the entire Hornet varsity baseball team and the entire coaching staff on USD 262 property. Immediately upon learning of the incident, high school and district leadership notified the appropriate authorities and suspended the season. A decision regarding the remainder of the baseball season will be made pending the outcome of the investigation.”

Details of the possible animal cruelty have not been released.

I have emailed the Valley Center Police Department to inquire about the investigation but Chief Lloyd Newman said: “We are still very early in the investigation and gathering information.”

The San Juan Police Department arrested 21-years-old JACOB LUNA (pictured).

LUNA is accused of strangling a dog to death and then dumping the Voiceless Victim’s body into a trash can. The furvictim was an 11-year-old Pug named Max.

Max’s family reported the incident to the San Juan Police Department after home security footage showed a man trespass onto their property and harm their dog.

Police said the video “shows an individual unlawfully entering her property, aggressively handling the dog in a manner that suggested harm, and then removing the animal from the premises.”

The non-profit Yaqui Animal Rescue uploaded the footage to their Facebook page in hopes of finding the male.

LUNA was taken into custody on Thursday, April 18, 2024.

When investigators interviewed LUNA, he confessed to taking Max and strangling him before tossing the body in a nearby trash can. By the time the murderer was interviewed, the trash truck had already passed that morning. According to police, LUNA emphasized he felt “alive” while harming Max.

The murderer was booked into the Hidalgo County Jail on charges of animal cruelty, criminal trespassing, theft, and tampering with evidence.

The day after his arrest, the murderer was arraigned and a judge set a $104,000 bond. Records show LUNA was released on Saturday, April 20, 2024.
