The Pembroke Pines Police Department arrested 28-years-old DANIEL LAMONT GRAY JR. (pictured) “after investigating officers determined that he caused malicious and intentional harm to his dog, Jack, which resulted in the dog’s death”, said the Department in a press release.

According to Local 10 News, GRAY is an ex-NFL player and is currently a Broward County Public School teacher. His name is listed online as a teacher at Pine Ridge Educational Center.

Police said that on August 10, 2022, witnesses saw GRAY “punching, kicking, and slamming” Jack, an 8-month-old American Pitbull terrier, “into the ground outside of The Avant apartment complex” in the 12000 Block of SW 15th Street.

As indicated in the release, approximately two hours after the incident, one of the witnesses found Jack’s lifeless body to the rear of a nearby building.

Local 10 News added that Jack was covered in blood and witnesses placed a sheet and bags on him before calling the police.

When officers responded to the scene, according to Local 10 News, witnesses told them that GRAY went crazy on the furbaby outside his unit, punching him, kicking him, swinging him by his legs, and body slamming him to the ground. They also said that as Jack was yelping and crying in pain, GRAY yelled to the DEFENSELESS VICTIM: “You see how strong I am? This is why I keep you locked up.” GRAY then dragged the furbaby away and dropped him nearby.

Local 10 News reports that responding officers called Dr. Elizabeth Rosainz who is a veterinarian at LeadER Animal Hospital before taking Jack to her for assessment.

Dr. Rosainz told Local News 10: “I have seen some of these cases, but this is the worst I have ever seen.” Dr. Rosainz explained: “Externally, there was so much blood from the oral cavity, in the nasal cavity, that you can see that he had been hit in the face, somehow. He had a puncture wound on top of the head and then when we took X-rays we could see that he had rib fractures and he had collapsed lung.”

As reported by Local News 10, it’s unclear how Jack got a puncture wound to his head, but state officials are examining the body.

From a thorough investigation it emerged that GRAY “willfully caused significant injuries to his dog, Jack, which directly led to his death”, said police.

The filthy murderer was arrested on August 11, 2022, and charged with felony aggravated animal cruelty. He was transported to BSO Main Jail for processing.

After his arrest, GRAY went before a judge and his lawyers had the nerve to ask for his bond to be reduced so that their client could attend the first day of school on Tuesday, August 16, 2022.

The judge told GRAY he was not to go back to work until further notice.

Broward County’s school system told Local 10 News that GRAY he will be RELOCATED to an off-school site as the investigation continues. Not fired, relocated!

DANIEL LAMONT GRAY JR., bragging about your strength with a dog unable to fight back says a lot about what you are made of and what you are, EXCREMENT!!!!

Show me how you can defend yourself with your hands and legs tied up while someone does to you what you did to Jack! Is that strength?

- Florida, USA -

On August 11, 2022, Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey personally walked to jail 32-years-old ERICA RAVEN BLACK (pictured), as he does with all animal abusers. He always has something to say to the arrestees as they are being walked to jail, but this time he did not have much to say given the atrocious nature of this case. He simply told BLACK: “I am disgusted by you!.”

In a video posted on Facebook, Sheriff Ivey explained that BLACK was already in custody for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon where she stabbed twice a 68-year-old male in July 2022.

BLACK is accused of drowning a tiny female Chihuahua, named Sadie, in a pool. This incident, captured by a home surveillance video, happened back in October 2021, but as Sheriff Ivey said, it’s only come to light now because BLACK’s roommate came forward with the video.

The graphic footage shows BLACK entering the pool while she’s holding Sadie. She then immerses the furbaby who desperately fights with everything she got. Once Sadie passes away, BLACK leaves her floating body in the pool and records her. But that’s not sadistic enough for BLACK. In fact, the video goes on to show BLACK taking Sadie out of the water and slamming her tiny, lifeless body on the deck multiple times. BLACK then left Sadie on a sofa for several days. Finally, BLACK goes live on social media telling people what she’s done while she’s holding up Sadie.

While BLACK is at the pool murdering Sadie, two other small live dogs can be seen in the video. I will email the sheriff’s office to find out what happened to those furbabies.

BLACK is charged with felony animal cruelty.

On Friday, the filthy murderer made her first court appearance and on top of her already existing $150,000 bond for the stabbing, a judge added another $15,000 to the bond for the charge of animal cruelty.

Court records show BLACK’s arraignment is set for September 13, 2022.

- Virginia, USA -

~ Update: August 20, 2022

The Tazewell County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office announced that 33-years-old ERIC RYAN ROSE (pictured), “has been arrested on a felony warrant for animal cruelty / animal cruelty resulting in death under Virginia § 3.2-6570.”

In July 2022, ROSE was charged with a misdemeanor count of animal cruelty after a video caught him violently abusing and aggressively handling his dog, Charlie. The video also showed ROSE tying a rope or a leash around Charlie’s throat while forcefully keeping the furbaby still.

Authorities later found a lifeless dog down the street from ROSE’s home and the furbaby was taken to Wytheville for a necropsy.

The results determined that the dog was Charlie and the misdemeanor charge has been upgraded to a felony.

ROSE was arrested on August 15, 2022, in Washington County, Tennessee by the Johnson City Police Department for being a fugitive from justice. He is awaiting extradition back to Tazewell County.

~ Original story:

On Monday, July 18, 2022, authorities in Tazewell County have arrested 33-years-old ERIC RYAN ROSE (pictured), after Virginia State Police say he violently abused his dog at his ex-girlfriend’s home in Cedar Bluff.

A video published by WVVA, shows ROSE aggressively handling a dog named Charlie and then goes on to depict ROSE tying a rope or a leash around Charlie’s throat while forcefully keeping the furbaby still.

ROSE told the news agency that the incident is not limited to the video and that there is more to the story. According to ROSE’s version of the facts, he was just trying to cool the dog off on a hot day.

ROSE told WVVA: “I didn’t think it would be an issue getting him in the pool. I figured I would just have to get him to get in it and then he backed up and he ended up biting me. When he bit me I tried to get a hold of him just to get control so he wouldn’t bite me again because when he bit me it shredded the end of my thumb. Like the whole digit of my right thumb I have no feeling in it, it’s all jacked up now.”

WVVA asked ROSE to verify the injury of his thumb with a photo and ROSE said he would email the picture but WVVA never received it.

According to WVVA, ROSE said that what we see in the video is him defending himself from another bite. ROSE claimed he was trying to restrain Charlie, not hurt him. He then added that he took Charlie down the street from his house and let him run free.

Sadly, down the street from ROSE’s home, his ex-girlfriend and police found the lifeless body of a dog believed to be Charlie.

Virginia State Police and the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Department were both present on the scene.

Authorities said they would send the dog’s carcass off for a necropsy to confirm his identity.

Reporter Robert Castillo with WVVA was also present and said that right after the discovery, he called ROSE to get his reaction.

Reportedly, ROSE said: “I have no clue, I know nothing about it. It’s news to me.”

WVVA asked ROSE if he had any idea how Charlie got to the area where he was found and ROSE responded: “No, not up here. I mean if anything he should’ve been down that way.”

WVVA reports that shortly after they ended their call with ROSE, he showed up and spoke with police. According to WVVA, it appeared that ROSE broke down at the discovery.

Online court records show that ROSE is facing one MISDEMEANOR count of animal cruelty but I refuse to believe that no additional charges will be filed against this filthy murderer!

Also, in the video, another dog, a black one, can be seen running lose in the backyard. I hope authorities have removed him/her!

ROSE is expected back in court on September 28, 2022, at 9:00 a.m.

ROSE’s picture shared from Stephanie Merrell’s Facebook account.

I have emailed the sheriff’s office and requested the official mugshot.
