"Never give up on your pets! Never! I never gave up on mine, and you shouldn't give up on yours."

That is what Ms. Debra Easley said after her dream came true.

Three years ago, in her Prichard home her dog named Simba left through a gate that was left open and never went back.

Debra told NBC 15 that on Friday evening, January 31, her granddaughter said: “Oh, grandma, guess what! I know where Simba is!'"

Debra got in her truck and drove to a house in Prichard where she saw her furbaby chained in the yard wearing the same red collar he was wearing when he disappeared.

Simba was skinny, he had scars on his rump, and was nursing an injured paw.

At that point Debra told the person in the property that Simba was hers and she could prove it because he was microchipped. The person just said: “Take him!”

Simba followed his mom to the vehicle and returned where he belonged, with his family.

Debra’s grandchild Craig was 3 years old when Simba disappeared and every day he has been asking everyone: “Where is Simba?”

His mother Jonique said it has been hard on him.

He was devastated because he and Simba were inseparable.

I am truly happy for you guys but please do not leave furbabies and children unsupervised.

You never know who might try to harm them.

The 12-year-old Bulldog in the pictures below is Tuff.

He was rescued by the South Milwaukee Fire Department (SMFD) on Friday morning, January 31, after he fell through the ice and into the frigid waters of Lake Michigan.

Reportedly, the poor furbaby ended up on the ice because he was trying to retrieve a stick and was submerged for 10 long minutes or even longer.

SMFD, who ironically trained in the very same area just on Wednesday, were called in.

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that the incident happened in the channel between the Grant Park beach and South Milwaukee Yacht Club, 101 Marshall Avenue.

Lt. Kurt Egner of the South Milwaukee Fire Department said that prior to their arrival bystanders tried to throw a rope to Tuff but were unsuccessful.

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel also reports that a member of the fire department donned a cold-water rescue suit, hooked a rope to himself and went after Tuff.

The furbaby was then transported to a local veterinarian and thankfully is expected to make a full recovery!

Many thanks to our Angels on Earth with uniforms who risk their own lives daily to save animals and people!

Mr. Kendall Diwisch is a Canadian oil worker and on Wednesday, January 22, while he was inspecting wells near Tomahawk in Alberta, he saw three kittens stuck in the snow.

Mr. Diwisch got out of the vehicle and walked toward them.

He realized that their tails were tangled with each other and trapped in the snow, so he went back to the car and got a cup with some warm coffee inside.

He then poured the coffee on the kittens' tiny paws and tails and was able to free the frozen babies.

It’s likely that they had been abandoned and were there since the night before.

He posted on his Facebook page pictures and the video of the rescue, but, most importantly our hero wrote that: “All three little rascals went to their new home today where they get to be together instead of separating them. All three are eating and drinking and very energetic. Thanks for everyone’s consideration and offering to take them very appreciated.”

The awesome news was also posted on the Cause for Critters Facebook page.

The nonprofit wrote: “For those that saw the story about the three kittens frozen to the snow, we are happy to say that they are happily in their new home. We got a visit from them the other day.

Thank you to Kendall for rescuing them and to the Trider family for taking them in. We are so happy that their story will have an amazing end. 💚”

Thank you, Mr. Diwisch for rescuing three lives. You are a great Man!
