TYLER NASHAE THOMPSON caught on camera throwing a malnourished Poodle over an eight-foot fence of a veterinary clinic

- California, USA -

Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer announced the arrest of 30-year-old TYLER NASHAE THOMPSON, of Anaheim.

THOMPSON is accused of throwing a malnourished Poodle over an 8-foot fence of a veterinary clinic.

At about 6:30 a.m. on November 12, 2025, the owner of University Veterinary Center on Glenoaks Avenue arrived at work and in the backyard, he found a dog who did not belong to his business. After watching his surveillance footage, he alerted the Anaheim Police Department.

The footage showed a female exiting an apartment complex in the 1700 block of Glenoaks Avenue at about 1:37 a.m. and throwing a plastic bag over the clinic’s fence. The grocery bag hit the ground, and a white Poodle is seen walking out of the bag as the female walks back into the apartment complex as if she had just dumped some trash!

DA Spitzer said in a press release that the furvictim “was extremely malnourished, flea-infested, and was missing a tooth.”

Detectives identified the female as THOMPSON and on November 27, 2025, she was taken into custody. THOMPSON was charged with one felony count of felony animal cruelty, one felony count of felony animal abuse by a caretaker, and one misdemeanor count of concealing or destroying evidence.

THOMPSON was booked into the Orange County Jail and at the time of writing records show she is being held on a $50,000 bail. Her arraignment is scheduled for December 1, 2025.

The furvictim is being cared for by Orange County Animal Care.

DA Spitzer said in a written statement: “This poor dog was subjected to unimaginable suffering by someone who was supposed to care for her. Only the truly depraved would make the decision to abuse an animal who has no way to protect itself and then throw it away like a piece of trash. The abuse of any defenseless animal will not be tolerated and those who engage in violence against animals will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

Beautiful words, however, the fullest extent of the law would see THOMPSON behind bars for only three years IF convicted on all counts!
