SASHA ALEXANDRA ALISA KOVAL intentionally left her dog in the car who died from heat exhaustion

- Florida, USA -

On July 7, 2023, the Hollywood Police Department arrested 27-years-old SASHA ALEXANDRA ALISA KOVAL (pictured) after she admitted that she intentionally left her dog in the car while she went to work. The furbaby inevitably passed away!

According to a press release by Hollywood Police obtained by Voice For Us, it all started on June 22, 2023, when police launched an investigation into tips about animal neglect in the 1800 block of Rodman Street. At the location, officers found a truck with a deceased brindle Pitbull laying on the floorboard. On that occasion, police did not locate any witnesses.

An investigation led to KOVAL who during questioning, “confessed to intentionally leaving her dog inside a vehicle while she went to work the night of June 18, 2023,” stated the release. When she returned home, she left the dog in the truck and she did not care to check on the Voiceless Victim.

Hollywood police said that when KOVAL woke up on the afternoon of the following day, June 19, 2023, she naturally found the furbaby lifeless.

The poor and helpless dog was confined in the vehicle with the sweltering heat of summer for roughly twenty hours until he/she finally succumbed to the extreme heat.

KOVAL was arrested and booked into the Broward County Jail but at time of writing, she does not appear in the arrest search database maintained by the Broward County Sheriff’s Office.

I was however able to find her multiple Linked In accounts, and her court records which show that she is facing one third-degree felony count of aggravated animal cruelty.

Authorities did not disclose the furbaby’s name, so I took the liberty of naming him/her Cyclamen for the tribute image. Should his/her given name be made public, I will rectify it accordingly.

Clearly, this poor dog was treated like he/she was an unwanted and useless item.

KOVAL could have done the humane thing to take him/her to a shelter instead of taking it upon herself to end the furbaby’s life!

I hope that the judge who will preside over this case is just as merciless as she was!
