Unlike humans, animals cannot report the abuse inflicted on them, nor can they take the stand in a court of law to testify against their abusers.
Animals rely on witnesses to be rescued from abuse and to receive justice.
Humans who are the victims of ongoing physical and/or mental abuse may not feel comfortable reporting it or avoid doing so because they feel threatened by their perpetrators etc. Still, they have the option to speak up, unlike animals who do not have the faculty.
Animals suffer in silence while they are abused, tortured, neglected, and mistreated until someone becomes aware of their pain and does the right thing by reporting it.
Like humans, animals have the right to live in a cruelty-free world.
When you witness or suspect possible animal cruelty, do not walk away. Make the call. Save a life.
Voice For Us believes that not reporting animal cruelty is the same as committing it!
