PARIS JADE CARDING encouraged a 2-year-old to kill badgers and foxes on a family day out

- United Kingdom -

An elementary school teaching assistant and her boyfriend encouraged a 2-year-old to kill badgers and foxes during a barbaric family day out.

A joint investigation conducted by RSPCA and Cheshire Police, began in October 2020, after a police wildlife crime officer was alerted to the closed Facebook group: “The Real Terrier Men and Lurcher Men” which showed photos and videos of illegal fox hunting and badger baiting.

Officers tracked down three suspects and seized seven dogs including two Lurchers and two Patterdale terriers. Many of the innocent dogs had injuries consistent with ‘hunting activities.’

According to the Mirror, 28-year-old PARIS JADE CARDING (pictured below), appeared in 32 video clips showing 'shocking and horrendous' incidents of animal cruelty.

In one video, CARDING is heard saying to the toddler: “there it is, it’s a pig [badger] isn’t it. Bash, bash it, ooh, it’s biting.”

Some of the sickening videos also show CARDING’s boyfriend, 30-years-old GRANT LEIGH JR., showing the toddler how to hit a badger with a spade.

He can also be seen in a picture holding a dead fox with a child accompanied by the caption: “Family day out, learn these kids young. Hunting mad!

In another video, CARDING can be seen encouraging the toddler to get a Lurcher dog to attack a badger den. CARDING then is heard saying “her face is going to be smashed. Good boy, get him out. Look at them fighting.”

As reported by the Daily Mail, the couple was joined on the family day out by the boyfriend’s father, 51-years-old GRANT LEIGH SR. (pictured below).

According to Manchester Evening News, LEIGH SR. operated as an administrator of the Facebook group.

When LEIGH SR. was arrested, officers found in the backyard of his home a kennel block with six dogs inside. Three of the furbabies were recognizable from the videos.

Two black Patterdale Terriers had scarring on their faces and one was underweight; three Bull Lurchers, one named Mission, also had facial injuries; and a white and black terrier named Clover had fresh wounds and a swollen face and muzzle.

Last week, at Tameside Magistrates Court, CARDING, of Fawley Grove, Wythenshawe, Greater Manchester, was found guilty of five cruelty offences under the Protection of Badgers Act, the Animal Welfare Act and the Hunting Act.

LEIGH SR. was convicted of causing unnecessary suffering to a terrier, alongside failing to properly look after six other dogs under the Animal Welfare Act.

LEIGH JR. , of the same address as CARDING, admitted seven offences including hunting with dogs and keeping dogs in poor conditions under the Animal Welfare Act at an earlier hearing.

RPSCA prosecutor Hazel Stevens said: “This is a case that is shocking and horrendous and in which children are present. The fact a two-year-old child was being encouraged to join in can only be described as barbaric.”

The despicable trio will be sentenced March 9, 2022.

Parents that encourage children to torture & kill innocent animals are the some of the worst of todays monsters. The monsters will not win as long as the officials continue to hold these terrible people responsible & prosecute. Thank you Voice for Us for shining the light on the dark side of humanity.

Oh my God! Seek help, please. This cruelty will never end until there's world wide sterilization of morons like these two. Stop them from creating more morons like themselves and teaching them to carry on their sick, mentally disturbed ways. I do know well enough that the sterilization idea will never be accepted, but I like the idea very much. To save all who are good in this world (animal & human) from all this shit.

Oh, and BTW. They both look like cretins. Look at the father's insane-asylum escapee bald neanderthal cranium. That's a great look. You can just see the crazy in so many of these people.... in their eyes and their strange appearance.
