CHRISTINA MARIE FISHER charged with fifty counts of animal cruelty after more than forty animals were rescued from a Meade County property

- Kentucky, USA -

The Meade County Sheriff’s Office arrested 39-year-old CHRISTINA MARIE FISHER (pictured).

Deputies along with Meade County Animal Control Officers executed a search warrant at a property on Vine Grove where they discovered two cats and more than forty dogs living in squalid conditions.

According to court documents, thirty-seven dogs were found inside a shed without food and water. The dogs were being kept in cages lying in their own feces and urine. The shed also lacked ventilation. Thirteen of the thirty-seven dogs were extremely emaciated and required urgent medical attention.

Inside FISHER’s home, where six dogs and two cats were found, the floors were covered in urine and feces.

All of the furvictims were removed from the property and are now receiving medical care.

FISHER was arrested on February 1, 2026, and at the time of writing, records show she is being held into the Meade County Detention Center on a $2,500 bond.

FISHER was charged with thirty-three counts of cruelty to animals and seventeen counts of torture of a dog or cat.
