MICHAEL J. SCHILLING arrested on accusations of neglecting two dogs

- New York, USA -

The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of 36-year-old MICHAEL J. SCHILLING (pictured), of Corinth.

The arrest is the result of an investigation which stemmed from a complaint that the sheriff’s office received on September 13, 2025.

According to the complaint, SCHILLING was not properly caring for his dogs, and deputies were dispatched to a residence on 377 Angel Road in Corinth to investigate.

The investigation determined that SCHILLING failed to provide proper sustenance for two dogs, and that the furvictims were being kept in unsanitary conditions.

The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office tells me the dogs are females named Brownie and Lacy.

Brownie is a mixed breed dog approximately 2-3 years old, and Lacy who is approximately 4-5 years old is a Dachshund or Bassett mix.

Brownie and Lacy were removed from the residence by virtue of a court order and placed in the care of the Saratoga County Animal Shelter. I am told they both are doing well.

SCHILLING was arrested on September 19, 2025, and charged with overdriving, torturing and injuring animals; failure to provide proper sustenance (class A misdemeanor). He was released with an appearance ticket for Corinth Town Court.
