LUCIE DJIEMENI SIEWE arrested for abandoning a kitten and striking him with the pickup truck she drove away in

- Texas, USA -

Harris County Constable Precinct One Alan Rosen announced the arrest of 49-year-old LUCIE DJIEMENI SIEWE (pictured via Facebook).

SIEWE is accused of abandoning a kitten and striking him with a black Ford 150 pickup truck as she drove away. The furvictim was left severely injured on the side of the road along Lake Houston near FM 1960 and Crosby Huffman Road.

The sickening incident happened on July 29, 2025, and was thankfully captured on video by a witness.

A Houston SPCA’s ambulance rescued the 3-month-old kitten, named Alex, and through a Facebook post the agency advised that he was “receiving care for multiple fractures and a serious leg wound.” The Houston SPCA also said: “If the leg doesn’t heal, amputation may be necessary.”

A $5,000 reward was then offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual responsible for the abominable act. The case was being investigated jointly by the Houston SPCA and Office of Constable Alan Rosen, Harris County Constable Precinct 1.

Finally, on Friday, August 22, 2025, SIEWE was arrested at her home in Humble by deputies with Constable Precinct One’s Animal Cruelty Unit. She was charged with two misdemeanor counts of animal cruelty.

Alex is recovering at the Houston SPCA after surgery for multiple fractures and other treatments for a deep leg wound. Most recently, Alex underwent lifesaving surgery to repair a diaphragmatic hernia.

Constable Alan Rosen said in a written statement: “There is a right way and a wrong way to treat animals and this way was not only wrong, but criminal. We know that for many people, pets are family and this should have never happened. If she did not want the kitten, there were plenty of ways to put it up for adoption.”
