IMANIA SHARRON DAVIS seen on camera throwing and kicking a defenseless puppy causing his death

- Florida, USA -

An innocent puppy died as a result of the barbaric abuse that was inflicted upon him by a savage identified as 33-year-old IMANIA SHARRON DAVIS (pictured), of Tampa.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, the incident took place on the evening of April 30, 2026, and was captured by Real Time Crime Center cameras.

The arrest report stated that the cameras recorded DAVIS leaving her apartment complex near East 127th Avenue and North 11th Street carrying the puppy, a 1-year-old male Maltese, by the scruff of his neck.

DAVIS can be seen “willingly and intentionally” throwing the puppy twice about twenty-two feet causing the furvictim to hit the asphalt. Footage went on to show that the puppy then approached DAVIS “in a timid manner” with his tail tucked between his legs. At that point, DAVIS kicked the puppy and slapped his head with two open hand strikes. The monster proceeded to pick up the puppy again by the scruff of his neck and carried him about five feet before hurling him one more time.

Real Time Crime Center cameras are cameras that use live data and tech to speed up police response. A sheriff’s office “vigilant operator” who was watching the cameras reported the incident to deputies, who responded to the scene.

One of the deputies approached the puppy and according to the arrest report, “the dog was awake but did not make any movement to run away or move.”

The furvictim was taken to a veterinarian who determined that the puppy had a broken front left leg and a bleeding nose from a “suspected unknown severity head wound.”

The poor soul was taken into surgery but sadly he did not survive.

DAVIS was arrested and booked into the Hillsborough County Jail on six counts of aggravated cruelty to animals. Bond was set at $75,000.

Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister advised that detectives are working with the State Attorney’s Office regarding any additional charges that may be applicable following the puppy’s death.

During a press conference Sheriff Chronister said: “This dog was only seeking love and attention and affection.”

In a written statement, he said: “This is a deeply upsetting case that has impacted our entire community. What this innocent animal endured was cruel, violent, and unacceptable. I am also grateful to everyone at the Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center and the veterinary staff who did everything they could to care for this dog and give him a chance to recover."

The investigation is ongoing.
