West Virginia State Police arrested 56-year-old BILLY RICHARDS (pictured below) after a dog he was looking after died.
WTRF reports that police received a tip advising that the dog may have died due to freezing temperatures or starvation.
The furbaby was not RICHARDS’.
Reportedly, the furbaby’s guardian was in New York and RICHARDS was supposed to be caring for the poor soul.
Troopers questioned RICHARDS.
He told them that the dog was kept outside, that he fed him/her every day, and that he gave the dog a blanket.
Troopers asked RICHARDS to exhume the furbaby’s body.
Troopers reported the dog to be very skinny and malnourished.
RICHARDS, of Glenville, is now facing a felony animal cruelty charge.
This cruel and evil individual is being held in the Central Regional Jail with bail set at $15,000.
I am sure he is being fed and is being kept warm!
