ANGELA DODSON arrested after authorities found dead, mistreated dogs at her Cincinnati home

- Ohio, USA -

Cincinnati Police arrested 60-year-old ANGELA DODSON (pictured), of the 1700 block of Minion Avenue in Cincinnati.

The affidavits obtained by Voice For Us accused DODSON of locking dogs in crates and leaving them to die as well as keeping other dogs in unsafe conditions at her home.

At the home, investigators discovered one dog who had an injured paw, and another dog who was emaciated, stuck between a window and a sheet of ply board in an attempt to escape through the window. The furvictim was unable to move and neighbors who noticed the dog in distress, thankfully alerted the authorities.

Investigators then found a third dog confined to a room without food or water, and sadly, they also discovered a deceased dog in a crate that had no food or water.

DODSON was arrested on June 6, 2026, and was charged with one count of cruelty to animals and four counts of prohibitions concerning companion animals. She was taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center and was given a $2,500 bond.

She appeared in Hamilton County Municipal Court on Monday, June 8, 2026, for her arraignment.

I have emailed the Hamilton County Dog Warden and requested additional information about the dogs. If I receive a response, I will post an update.
