The Blooming Grove Police Department arrested 49-years-old BETTY ANN DAVIS.

On January 30, 2024, PSP Blooming Grove received a report about animal abuse that happened in the 5000 block of Woodbridge Drive East in Lehman Township, Pike County.

The reporting party explained to authorities that DAVIS, her roommate, was watching her dog, a small Pomsky. The dog’s guardian said that on January 29, 2024, DAVIS called her to say that her dog broke his/her leg by “getting caught in the crate.” The dog’s guardian then told DAVIS to take the dog to an emergency veterinarian.

When the dog’s guardian spoke with the veterinarian, she learned that her dog had a broken leg with the bone protruding from the skin, which possibly required amputation.

Furthermore, the veterinarian told the woman that the injury was “not consistent with the manner in which it was reported to have occurred.”

At that point the woman checked her home video starting from the night of January 28, 2024. According to police, footage showed DAVIS throwing the dog off the second-story deck before putting him/her back into the crate.

The Voiceless Victim remained in the crate with the protruding broken bone overnight, until the following morning when DAVIS called the dog’s guardian.

As the dog’s guardian watched more footage, she learned that on January 9, 2024, DAVIS had done the same thing before. She took the defenseless dog and threw him/her dog off the second-story deck.

DAVIS, of Bushkill, is facing multiple charges, including two felony counts of aggravated cruelty to animals by causing significant bodily injury or death and torture, along with two misdemeanors of cruelty to animals.

Court records show that DAVIS was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Randy Schmalzle on January 31, 2024. Schmalzle set a $30,000 unsecured bail which DAVIS was able to post. DAVIS is due back in court for her preliminary hearing on the morning of Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.

FOX 56 WOLF reports: “According to Pennsylvania State Police, Davis is employed by the Mid-Hudson Forensic Psychiatric Center in New Hampton, New York.”

If I hear back from the PSP regarding the dog’s condition, I will post an update.

The Upper Darby Police Department arrested 28-years-old ANIGAR MONSEE (pictured), on January 19, 2024, following a tip from PETA about MONSEE torturing and killing innocent animals on her YouTube channel while soliciting encouragement from viewers.

According to the affidavit obtained by Voice For Us, PETA documented a “scantily-clad woman torturing rabbits, chickens, frogs, and pigeons by slowly disemboweling and otherwise mutilating the animals while still alive.” It was further documented that MONSEE was also “severing the struggling and screaming animals’ necks with a dull knife over the course of several minutes.”

Police said that MONSEE admitted to her cruel and barbaric actions.

Upper Darby Police Superintendent Timothy Bernhardt described a video in which the Voiceless Victim was a chicken and said: “During the video, she is soliciting more likes and more viewers. And once she gets to the point where she is satisfied with the number of viewers, she then proceeds -- over the course of 10 minutes -- to harm and ultimately kill that chicken.”

A video posted on January 17, 2024, called “Cooking Lucky” shows MONSEE torturing a chicken for 10 minutes, according to the affidavit. Toward the end of the video, she steps on the bird and kills it by slitting its throat with a dull knife.

Superintendent Bernhardt said that in other videos, MONSEE can be seen subjecting to the same horrifying ordeal many frogs, a pigeon, and a rabbit.

Other videos depict MONSEE “cutting the animals and scalding them with hot water.

In a video from September, MONSEE is seen disemboweling a frog while singing “Happy Death Day,” to the tune of “Happy Birthday.”

When detectives interviewed MONSEE, they were able to confirm that the kitchen in her apartment was identical to the kitchen seen in the most recent video. Other videos were recorded at MONSEE’s former residence in Colwyn.

MONSEE has been charged with four counts of aggravated animal cruelty. According to online records, she was unable to post 10% of her $200,000 bail and is being held into the George Hill Correctional Facility pending a preliminary hearing scheduled for February 5, 2024, at 8:30 a.m.

As Superintendent Bernhardt rightfully said: “Even more disturbing is that there are people out there that are entertained by this and there’s a platform out there that is allowing it.”

The Scranton Police Department said that 60-years-old CINDY LOU FREDERICK and 57-years-old MARVIN LEROY FREDERICK (both pictured), are facing animal cruelty charges after they abandoned dozens of cats and left them in deplorable conditions without food and water at the home they moved out from in December 2023.

The FREDERICKS’ home, on 508 West Market Street in Scranton, was listed for sale on Zillow. A couple went to see the residence on January 11, 2024, and used the key under the mat to enter. Police said that when the couple opened the door: “Approximately 10 to 15 cats came to the door who appeared thin and malnourished. The cats were said to be crying. The house was said to be filthy and full of garbage with an overwhelming foul odor that was so bad that (the witness) could not enter.”

Authorities were alerted and responded to the scene.

The home was in deplorable, unlivable condition and was condemned by city inspectors.

Animal Control Officers reported seeing dirt, garbage, feces, and bones throughout the residence along with the smell of a foul odor.

Bowls were empty and there was no water for the Voiceless Victims.

Authorities said several cat skulls and skeletons were found in the home.

Police said the bones of four cats stripped clean and still pink in spots, suggested the living cats were forced to eat their own to survive.

Scranton Police reported in the criminal complaint: “These cats were not left with adequate food and water and, as a result, have suffered significant cruelty and sustained serious medical issues.”

Officials put down crates with food inside and within seconds they trapped eight cats. The cats and the remains of a ninth cat were taken to Griffin Pond Animal Shelter. According to the shelter, several dogs were also removed from the property and are now in their care.

Authorities returned to the property and trapped and removed more cats.

Griffin Pond Animal Shelter wrote in a Facebook post: “Every single cat brought in this evening received the very best care. From cleaning their wounds, to a complete health assessment, then fluids medications and vaccines followed by a comfortable bed and food for their starving bellies. Each one purred at our touch. What these animals have suffered and endured demands justice. Pray that justice can be served . 🙏”

The FREDERICKS were arrested on January 16, 2024, and have each been charged with twenty-three (23) felony and twenty-three (23) misdemeanor counts of animal cruelty. According to court records, on the same day, the wife appeared before Magisterial District Judge Christopher Szewczyk and the husband appeared before Magisterial District Judge John Pesota for their arraignment. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for both for Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at 9:15 a.m.
