The Pennsylvania Game Commission is looking for information regarding a male black bear who was found dead on Sunday, April 5.
The poor bear was illegally killed in the Pocono Ranchlands Community in Lehman Township. The exact shooting location is unknown.
Reportedly, residents of the community reported hearing a single gunshot fired around 10 p.m. on Saturday, April 4.
In a Facebook post, the Pennsylvania Game Commission said that a necropsy revealed that the bear was shot in his right, rear side, and the bullet was lodged in his front, left shoulder.
No significant blood evidence was found at the scene.
