KHEMISE FRANCESKA PRINCE arrested after dead cats were found in an apartment

- Virginia, USA -

NBC12 reports that on September 1, Henrico police received a report about a strong smell emanating from an apartment in the 5500 block of Pony Farm Drive in Henrico and dead cats who could be seen through the window of the apartment. It was further reported that no one had contact with the tenants.

When responding officers went inside the place, they found the remains of two cats and one of them was decomposed.

An investigation revealed that 29-years-old KHEMISE FRANCESKA PRINCE (pictured below) was responsible for the cats.

Authorities arrested PRINCE on September 13, and charged her with felony animal cruelty.

NBC12 reports that PRINCE was taken to jail and is being held without bond. It was not mentioned which jail.

I have visited the Henrico County Jail online logs to get additional information on PRINCE but there were no entries for her.

According to a different online source I consulted, PRINCE “was transferred to a different facility.”
