Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office needs help identifying a male in connection with a dog being shot

The Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office is reaching to the public for assistance in identifying the male in the picture below.


According to a news release, on the early morning of Tuesday, July 20, 2021, deputies were dispatched to the 5200 block of Bill Clements Ranch Boulevard about an animal related call.


On the scene deputies found a gray and white Pitbull laying on his side and bleeding.

Deputies learned that the furbaby had been shot in his shoulder.


Although the victim was taken to the veterinarian hospital in Kaufman for treatment, due to the injuries sustained, he was sadly euthanized.


The sheriff’s office said the male in the picture is a person of interest in this case and needs help identifying him.
