JEFFREY HOLLAND stabbed K9 Officer Kimura multiple times while he was being arrested

Las Vegas Police say that on Monday night, April 13, a Metro K9 named Kimura, was stabbed multiple times in the neck while officers were making an arrest.


The incident happened in an apartment complex on the 3800 block of Cambridge Street, near Twain Avenue.


The offender that was being arrested was identified as 57-year-old JEFFREY HOLLAND.


HOLLAND had initially been stopped on a traffic bench warrant and expired plates.


At some point he got out of the car, brandished a knife, and ran to the apartment complex.


HOLLAND refused to surrender and Officer Kimura, a 3-year-old Dutch Shepherd, was deployed.


HOLLAND stabbed Officer Kimura who was taken to an emergency veterinarian and had surgery.


HOLLAND was transported to University Medical Center for self-inflicted injuries.


Fox 5 reports that a source revealed that: “Holland stabbed himself in the femoral artery in his leg.”


Thankfully, Officer Kimura is back home.


Thanks to Dr. Mason and his team at Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care, Officer Kimura is expected to make a full recovery.


According to court records, HOLLAND now faces additional charges of resisting an officer with a deadly weapon and attempting to kill a police animal.


On Thursday, April 16, A JUDGE RULED THAT HOLLAND CAN GO FREE UNTIL HIS TRIAL IN JUNE!!!
