Harris County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a male who abandoned a dog at a store parking lot

Updated: Apr 16, 2021

- Texas, USA -

Harris County Sheriff deputies are looking for a male who was seen on surveillance video dumping a dog at a North Harris County gas station on Thursday, April 8.

The callous abandonment happened at a store in the 1800 block of Cypress Station Drive near Interstate 45.

A surveillance camera captured a white 1996 Cadillac Deville pulling up in the parking lot.

The heartless individual, described by ABC13 "to be in his 20s or 30s", exits the vehicle and walks around it to get the dog from the back seat.

He then tied the dog's leash to a pole, got back in the car and with the male in the driver’s seat drove away.

I refuse to believe that there are still people out there that don’t know they can surrender their unwanted furbabies to animal shelters.

This is sheer animal cruelty.

The male who drove the vehicle is just as guilty, he must he held accountable because he participated in the abandonment!

I beg you, if you recognize the monster who abandoned the furbaby come forward and speak up.

Please call the Harris County Animal Cruelty Taskforce.
