DWANISHA RAYNEICE HITCHENS arrested after being captured on camera mercilessly beating a dog

- Georgia, USA -

A female subhuman who was captured on camera mercilessly beating a small dog with her shoe has finally been arrested!

The Atlanta Police Department said in a press release that Investigators with the Atlanta Police Department’s Animal Cruelty Unit have established probable cause and secured arrest warrants for 31-years-old DWANISHA RAYNEICE HITCHENS (pictured below).

The incident, which took place on December 17, 2021, at Landing Square Apartments on 3378 Greenbriar Parkway SW, was recorded by a neighbor’s Ring camera.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the case “began when the video was shared anonymously with Fulton County Animal Services, who then reported the tip to police.”

As part of the investigation, detectives interviewed residents as well as the management staff but no one could identify the female in the video.

The video was then released to the public and a reward was offered in exchange for information leading to a criminal conviction.

PETA also offered a reward of up to $5,000 which later climbed up to $10,000 after the Crime Stoppers Atlanta offered another $5,000.

PETA Senior Vice President Colleen O’Brien said: “If this little dog is still in this violent person’s hands, he or she is possibly experiencing the terror and pain of similar beatings regularly. This dog needs to be separated from the abuser immediately, and PETA urges anyone with answers to come forward.”

CengNews reports that in an attempt to identify the woman, residents distributed over 200 flyers throughout the complex.

HITCHENS was arrested on Monday, February 7, on one MISDEMEANOR count of cruelty to animals. She was transported to the Fulton County Jail.

Fulton County Animal Services is holding the VOICELESS VICTIM as live evidence until the case is heard in court.

Voice For Us feels that every act of animal cruelty must be classified as a felony (Class A/First Degree). Lesser classifications trivialize the act itself, undermine the aforementioned rights of the victim, and do not serve as a strong enough deterrent for future crimes. Any kind of abuse inflicted on an animal who cannot ask for help and relies on witnesses for justice cannot be considered a petty matter.

Why in the world would this piece of human trash get a precious pup only to beat him/her? She has absolutely no right to abuse any animal. Hopefully she will suffer for this cruelty. She needs to feel this beau souls pain! Her eyes tell the truth, she looks mean but empty…soulless. Please get better Precious Wee Pup.
