DAMIEN IVON ADDINGTON arrested - He left a Pitbull tied in a backyard without food or water

- Connecticut, USA -

On Tuesday, October 4, 2022, the South Windsor Police Department arrested 40-years-old DAMIEN IVON ADDINGTON (pictured), on an active arrest warrant.

In a news release police said that ADDINGTON’s charges stem from an investigation conducted on August 9, 2022, when officers responded to a residence on Main Street for an unrelated unwanted person’s complaint.

According to police, during the course of the investigation, a 2-year-old Pitbull was found improperly tethered to a tree in the backyard of the property. Windsor Police tells me that the furbaby is a male named Kane and kindly provided me with his picture.

Kane was also found without food or water.

A SWPD Community Service Officer took Kane to the Tyler Regional Animal Care Center for safekeeping.

An arrest warrant was sought for Kane’s guardian, ADDINGTON, who was then taken into custody at GA 19 in Rockville.

ADDINGTON was later released on a $5,000 non-surety bond. He is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at 09:00 a.m.

I have just checked the Tyler Regional Animal Care Center’s Facebook page and learned that Kane is available for adoption. So, if you are interested, you can call Windsor Police Animal Control at (860) - 648 - 6239. Thank you!
