AASIA K. PERRY wanted on animal cruelty charges for abandoning a dog in deplorable conditions

- Kentucky, USA -

Over the summer, Lexington-Fayette Animal Care & Control received a complaint about a dog abandoned inside a residence on Osage Drive.

Officers then obtained and executed a search warrant. Once inside the residence, they found a Pitbull “locked in a wire crate, underweight, dehydrated, and covered in her own excrement”, said Lexington-Fayette Animal Care & Control in a Facebook post.

The organization referred to the Pitbull as Sunday.

Sunday was immediately removed from the residence to receive the medical care she desperately needed.

The Lexington Humane Society announced in a Facebook post that Sunday has been in their care for more than a hundred days and she’s now ready to be adopted.

A judge has issued an arrest warrant against Sunday’s former guardian, AASIA K. PERRY (pictured).

If you are familiar with PERRY’s whereabouts, please do the right thing and contact Lexington-Fayette Animal Care & Control cruelty investigator at (859) 255-9033 ext. 229, or reach out to the police. Thank you!
