Meet Tosha! The stunning pup is a service dog for a fifth grader at Gravette Upper Elementary School.

The young student, Treyton Hudson, suffers from seizures.

KARK reports that Treyton’s mother, Jessica Burchette, said: “We found out the medications weren’t working, and we kind of exhausted all our medications and was told it was probably going to get worse.”

In one night, the generous community of Gravette managed to raise $15,000 which was used to purchase Tosha.

She never leaves her young dad’s sight.

When it was time to get yearbook photos taken, the school quite rightfully decided that Tosha too deserved to have a picture in the yearbook.

Ms. Burchette said that thanks to Tosha her son has gained a new level of confidence, while Treyton said: “She [Tosha] just give me…my life.”

Well done Tosha!

- Henrico County, Virginia, USA -

A few days ago Henrico County Fire Station 1 was called to assist Animal Protection with a dog who had fallen down a dry well on Greenview Drive.

The responding crew at the scene found a well 35ft deep but only 4ft wide.

Rescuers had to enlarge the opening, and through a rope system set up in a tree, a firefighter was lowered to rescue the pup.

The station’s Facebook post says that the well was dry and cold and that it had possibly been covered over with soil, brick and stone.

The pup appeared to be calm during the whole rescue operation and once out of the well he was reunited with his family.

Thank you all for rescuing this pup!

- Santa Maria, California, USA -

A few weeks ago the Santa Maria Fire Department received a call about a puppy being trapped in a local canal on Stokes and Sugarbush.

The E5 responded and discovered that a tiny Chihuahua had fallen into a flooded canal and was howling for help.

A Firefighter used a ladder to get to the frightened furbaby who appeared to be a senior.

He scooped up the tiny pup with a blanket.

The pooch was wet and dehydrated. He is now in the care of animal control.
