This story involves a video believed to be a fake by many people, and yet, it’s driving the internet crazy.

A fish with a human-like face has been spotted, filmed, and posted on social media generating all kinds of reactions and comments.

In the video, the unusual fish is seen swimming in what looks like a lake or a river, and at some point, the head sticks out of the water showing this incredible face.

According to Snopes, a website that specializes in discrediting urban myths, the video has not been tampered with digitally.

Reportedly, the video was first uploaded on Douyin, a Chinese app and then spread on Weibo, a Chinese social network.

According to Ifeng News, in April 2019 a fish with a human face (possibly the same fish) was spotted in a pond outside a local temple in Japan.

ABC 10 News reports that there was a similar sighting in 2010. So it’s very possible that this awesome fish really exists.

News outlets are reporting comments expressed by social media users, for example, someone wrote on Facebook: “That was probably a dude and cheated on his wife and then he got turned into a fish by a witch.”

- Vietnam -

When I posted about chevrotains back in April many said they had never heard of them.

They are the smallest hoofed mammals in the world also known as ‘mouse-deer’.

They are so small they fit in a hand. They are not mice, nor are they deer.

According to the Global Wildlife Conservation (GWC), chevrotains were last seen in 1990 when a hunter killed one and then handed the body over to scientists.

These beautiful creatures were believed and feared to be extinct but to the conservationists’ surprise, they have been captured on camera traps for the first time in three decades in a Vietnamese forest.

The announcement was made on Monday, November 11, by the GWC among other agencies.

Mr. An Nguyen, a scientist and expedition team leader at GWC, said: “We had no idea what to expect, so I was surprised and overjoyed when we checked the camera traps and saw photographs of a chevrotain with silver flanks.”

Mr. Nguyen also said:

“Discovering that it is, indeed, still out there is the first step in ensuring we don’t lose it again, and we’re moving quickly now to figure out how best to protect it.”

Chevrotains are very mysterious and shy which makes it difficult for scientists to study them.

They use smells and noises to communicate.

These beautiful creatures don’t have horns or antlers for protection and therefore live in solitude, they often graze alone and only come together to mate.

They are nocturnal so it’s very rare to spot them.

Now that we know they are out there, please let’s not lose them again.

Do not hunt them, kill them or experiment on them. Leave them alone!!!

- Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA -

On Tuesday, November 5, a beloved member of Philadelphia animal rescue and welfare community was found naked and partially tied to his bed with a severe head trauma and slashes to his body.

Al Chernoff was murdered in his home on the 8400 block of Algon Avenue, in Fox Chase.

The Philadelphia Police Department has been on the case since and they released surveillance video of a suspect in connection with the killing.

The suspect is now in custody, a 14-year-old girl whose name cannot be disclosed because of the usual crap, she is a minor.

ABC7 reports that the girl turned herself in Thursday night, November 7, with her attorney. She has not been formally charged.

Angelo Ruffo, a friend of Mr. Chernoff said: "Al was amazing, anything you needed he would do. He was known for building shelters for all the feral stray cats in the city. He was a good man."
