Two evil males caught on video allegedly abusing a defenseless cat

- California, USA -

On the night of Wednesday, April 13, Mayra Chavez heard an unusual motion detection noise from her garage several times, she did not see anybody nearby and went to see what was going on.

She told FOX 26: “When I opened the door, my cat is running into the door, jumps in my arms and I see blood on his neck.”

The furbaby named Figaro, had a deep-cut wound.

Initially, Chavez thought Figaro, had been attacked by another animal, but then, after reviewing the surveillance video, she saw two males and heard that one of them had said: “That thing lucky he got away”.

Chavez said that her 4-year-old daughter is Figaro’s guardian and that it’s normal for the family to let Figaro roam around in their neighborhood on Del Mar and Brown Avenue in Northwest Fresno.

Chavez filed a police report hoping that the suspects won’t be “lucky” and will be caught.

Thankfully, Figaro is expected to be ok.

Mr. Bronson Charles, who lives on the same block as Chavez, hopes justice will be served and said that he doesn't understand how people can harm innocent animals for no reason and incidents like these could be a gateway to other crimes.

This could be something serious. Young people who don’t know, don't have their minds right and just kill animals just for like the fun of it, thinking it’s a thrill, to get a pleasure and then they can move onto a bigger target”, he said.

I have contacted the Fresno Police Department to inquire about the investigation.

I will post an update if I get a response.

I will keep saying this while I have breath in my lungs: Please, do not let your furbabies roam free and do not leave them unsupervised. Not everyone out there has a heart and soul!
