TREVER LAMAR CUE arrested after being sought for animal cruelty and child endangerment charges

- Pennsylvania, USA -

On Tuesday, August 24, authorities arrested 27-years-old TREVER LAMAR CUE (pictured below), of Arnold, who was wanted on warrants for animal cruelty and child endangerment charges.

In July 2021, CUE left behind in the apartment he moved out from a dog in a cage without food or water.

New Kensington Police said urine and feces were found inside and outside of the cage.

The furbaby was skinny, covered with feces, and was panting because of the heat.

Police did not reveal the wellbeing of the dog but said that they sought professional help to remove him/her.

A few months prior to this incident, in April, CUE had left three children on their own in a running vehicle while he was in a store buying beer.

According to court documents, one of the children put the car in drive and it struck a parked vehicle.

TribLive reports that CUE was spotted early Tuesday by Arnold Police in the 300 block of 16th Street. As he was making his way to his vehicle, an officer called out his name knowing that he was wanted on warrants. The officer told CUE he was under arrest but as he was exiting the police vehicle, CUE said: “I can’t go back to jail” before taking off and running between houses and jumping over fences.

New Kensington police assisted in the search.

Finally, CUE was found lying down in high weeds after he had stepped on a nail injuring his left foot and was taken into custody.

After his arraignment, CUE was transported to Westmoreland County Prison where a combined bond was set at $35,000

CUE’s preliminary hearing is slated for September 9.

I have contacted New Kensington Police Chief Robert Deringer and requested additional information about the dog. If I get a response, I will post an update.
