TIM WARREN, owner of Bentwood Labradors, charged after dogs found in unsanitary living conditions

- North Carolina, USA -

On January 28, via a Facebook post the Currituck County Government expressed gratitude to the Currituck Animal Services for rescuing sixty-one (61) dogs from “unsanitary and inhumane living conditions.”

Animal Control officers went to Robert Walker Road to investigate a report of stray dogs running loose.

At the address officers found in a pet store called Bentwood Labradors owned by TIM WARREN, forty-seven adult dogs, and fourteen puppies.

Many dogs were discovered in outdoor kennels which were extremely unsanitary.

Several of the dogs appeared to be in poor health.

Sadly, one adult female dog was found lifeless in the kennel area with the other dogs.

Many dogs required immediate medical care so they were taken to the Currituck County Animal Shelter.

WARREN has been charged with:

· 61 counts of failure to provide medical care, adequate food and water, and sanitary living conditions

· 8 counts of violating the restraint ordinance

· 8 counts of nuisance

· 1 count of failing to provide vet care that resulted in a death

Currituck Animal Shelter said in a Facebook post that they need blankets, sheets, and puppy food. Please visit their Facebook page to see how you can help. Thank you!

Another scum bucket who uses dogs for income. I’m from Texas & we our dogs do NOT live outdoors & I wager NC is a lot colder. Since these precious souls are for profit this monster tim warren appears to care less about their health, ie one was dead in the kennel with others in horrible shape. Make this soulless monster pay & never be able to even be in the company of animals ever RIP PRECIOUS SOUL!
