On Saturday afternoon, February 29, as a result of reckless driving, high speeding, and unsafe lane changes, a Dodge Avenger struck a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck first, and then a Toyota FJ Cruiser that went off the road rolling three times and ended up into a ditch against a tree.
It happened on I-90/94 west, at mile post 103, near Portage.
During the roll, a small black puppy was ejected from the Toyota and his parents were taken to Divine Savior Hospital.
While the couple were being hospitalized, a Wisconsin State Patrol trooper searched the area and located the frightened furbaby who thankfully was uninjured.
The trooper then took the pup to the hospital where he was reunited with his family.
