It’s only October and in many parts of the world it’s snowing and the temperatures are rapidly dropping.
Please don’t leave your pets outside exposed to cold weather.
If you see animals who are tethered outside in the cold, please report this cruelty immediately to the police or your county animal control services.
Last but not least, strays are one of my weaknesses.
Please open your heart and door to strays this winter.
If you cannot keep them in your home, kindly set up a tent or a kennel in your yard with proper bedding and food and keep them as warm and comfortable as possible until animal services officers arrive.
It would be a good idea to talk to your church or other community venues and propose that they keep their doors open to strays.
