NATASHA SIMONE BRYSON pleaded guilty to felony animal cruelty for abusing a dog

- Virginia, USA -

On Monday, March 22, in Stafford Circuit Court, 30-year-old NATASHA SIMONE BRYSON (pictured below), was convicted of animal cruelty for abusing a dog.

BRYSON pleaded guilty to felony animal cruelty and is scheduled to be sentenced on May 21, 2021.

The Free Lance-Star reports that prosecutor Jennifer Lindsey presented evidence in court showing that on February 19, 2020, Deputy Hepperle responded to a residence on Spruce Lane after receiving a welfare check request on a dog.

Deputy Hepperle found a large crate that was blocking a door and an emaciated tan Pitbull was curled up on the ground and tethered to the door.

The poor furbaby had multiple protruding bones, his face was sunken in, there were sores on his hip bones, abrasions on his face, neck and ears, and struggled to stand up.

According to court records, Child Protective Services later reported that BRYSON’s children told them the dog was constantly hit with a shoe and was always kept in a kennel or on a leash.

The furbaby was removed and was taken to the White Oak Animal Hospital.

The poor soul was weighing only 20.5 pounds.

According to a neighbor, when the Pitbull was first brought to BRYSON’s home he weighed considerably more.

The Free Lance-Star reports that prosecutor Lindsey said if the case had gone to trial, a doctor would have testified that the Pitbull was suffering from severe malnutrition and dehydration and would have died within days or weeks had the animal control officer not intervened.

BRYSON was also charged with a second animal cruelty offense after a cat was found dead in a box in BRYSON’s shed.

That charge, however, was dropped in exchange for her guilty plea.

BRYSON posted bond but then was jailed after authorities learned that she had gotten another cat, which violated her bond conditions.

BRYSON has been in jail since December.

The Pitbull, now named Deuce, is healthy and weighs more than 60 pounds.

Voice For Us believes that animal abusers should not benefit from the option of negotiating deals.

The precious lives of animals are NOT negotiable!!!

This evil female showed total disregard for life, for her children, and could not care less about her bond conditions.

She deserves to rot in a box like the innocent cat did!!!
