30-year-old MYAH AUTRY turned herself in on Wednesday night, November 6.
She said she did not know the NYPD had a warrant out for her arrest.
Police confirmed the next day AUTRY was charged with two counts of criminal trespassing.
In late September while visiting the Bronx Zoo, the Brooklyn resident entered the fenced giraffe enclosure and climbed into the African lion’s exhibit without permission.
AUTRY filmed a video which she later posted on Instagram.
While she is face to face with the male lion, the woman can be seen in the video waiving at the big cat and dancing.
The Bronx Zoo said they have a zero-tolerance policy on trespassing and violations.
