On Friday, January 3, Ms. Barb Greaves called the police to report her dog missing.
The pup, a Beagle named Trouble, had been let out on a cable run in the backyard of her home on E. North Avenue.
On Sunday, January 5, Ms. Greaves’ son called the police to report that someone had returned Trouble decapitated.
Police believe that on Friday, Trouble was taken between 8:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. and, on Sunday, Trouble was returned between 1:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

A Facebook page has been created called Justice for Trouble.
The page lists local business where people can donate money which will be used as a reward in exchange for information leading to the identification and criminal conviction of those responsible for this gruesome case.
