MARK STEPHEN ROZELL charged with animal cruelty for leaving dog in hot car

Mobile Police arrested 62-year-old MARK STEPHEN ROZELL (pictured below), after he left his dog in a hot car.


WKRG reports that on the afternoon of Friday, July 23, police were called to 5245 Rangeline Service Road, Wal-Mart, parking lot about a dog who had been left inside a car.


Responding officers located the vehicle and the dog.


Officers reported that the car was not running and only one window was down.


After observing that the dog was in distress, animal control was called in and the furbaby was safely placed in their care.


Police charged ROZELL, of Irvington, with 2nd-degree animal cruelty and booked him into Mobile Metro Jail.
