The Tulsa Police Department announced the arrests of the two males involved in a despicable act of animal abuse against an innocent dog unable to defend herself and unable to dial 911 for help.
In a news release police said that on October 5, “a video was posted on the Neighbors by Ring app showing a man severely beating and stomping on a dog at an apartment complex in the area of 61st and Peoria.”
As soon as police were alerted to the situation, an investigation was immediately launched.
Tulsa Police Riverside Street Crimes Unit located and took into custody LITRATYLE C'MARJLONNE HAYNES and KEVON D'ALN HICKS (both pictured below).
HICKS was located at his apartment in Savannah Landing.
HAYNES was contacted by police over the phone and agreed to turn himself in.
The VOICELESS VICTIM, a gorgeous Pitbull named Chi Chi, was found and taken by Tulsa Animal Welfare “for evidence and protection purposes”, said police.
HICKS and HAYNES were booked at D.L. Moss for felony animal cruelty.
Online records show they were arrested on October 8, and released the following day.
