LARRY JAKE BACA accused of intentionally injuring a 2-year-old female cat who had to be euthanized

Los Lunas Police have identified the worthless individual who had intentionally injured an innocent 2-year-old female cat back in January.
Police have charged 45-years-old LARRY JAKE BACA (pictured below) with one count of cruelty to animals, a fourth-degree felony.
One of BACA’s neighbors provided the authorities with footage from their Ring doorbell camera that captured the gut-wrenching act.
The incident happened on Manzano Avenue, in the village of Los Lunas.
News-Bulletin reports that Los Lunas Detective Heather Killingsworth reviewed the video which showed the front of a light color pickup truck parked in the neighbor’s driveway. The truck can be heard running in the video and BACA is seen approaching the front of the truck.
The complaint read: “Mr. Baca looks under the truck then walks back towards the driver side. He pops the hood of the truck and opens it. Mr. Baca looks into the engine compartment and says, ‘Ah you [expletive] cats! (*something inaudible* [expletive].’”
BACA then slams the hood of the truck and as he is walking towards the driver seat, he says: “I’m gonna [expletive] kill them!”
Detective Killingworth reported that she could hear the engine rev at an extremely high rate, then BACA sped the truck forward into the street causing rock landscaping to fly out from under the tires.
The video then showed BACA stopping the truck in the middle of the street and the cat walking away from under the truck.
Detective Killingsworth wrote in her report: “ Mr. Baca revs the engine again while the cat is dragging her legs behind her, clearly in pain and injured from the truck. The cat lays down in the landscaping and appears hurt, injured and unable to move and in clear need of help. Mr. Baca backs the truck up slightly and pulls forward again.”
That’s where the video ends, the detective wrote.
BACA was interviewed by LLPD Deputy Chief Charles Files but gave a different version of the facts.
BACA told Deputy Files that when he started his truck it didn’t “sound or feel right” so he looked under the hood but did not see any cats.
According to BACA, after he looked at his own home security video he saw a cat fall out of his engine compartment after he revved the engine.
The neighbor who turned the footage over to the authorities used to feed the VOICELESS VICTIM known as Buffy. The neighbor said the furbaby was fixed, vaccinated and roamed the neighborhood.
From the investigation into the incident, it emerged that BACA is on active stipulated conditions of release through the 13th Judicial District Court for felony charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon (against a household member) and false imprisonment, reports News-Bulletin.
BACA is slated to appear before Belen Magistrate John Chavez on the morning of Thursday, March 31, 2022.
Stray animals constantly struggle to find shelter in extreme weather conditions, they struggle to find food, they are exposed to abuse, traffic hazards, and much more!
You don’t have to love animals, you don’t have to feel sorry for them, but at least do not hurt them!!!

You know, this is so heartbreaking & worrisome to me especially because I've fed about 5 different, apparently, feral outdoor cats in the past 5 1/2 years at my current house. I've been wondering what happened to the first two that always used to come by. Haven't seen them in quite a while. I can't bear to think that anything horrible has happened to them, but I'll never know.
Once again, a brutal vile POS human was released after feeling aggravated battery (his truck again possibly?) & kidnapping of a household member to roam the streets! I pray this sadist will be found guilty & thrown away in jail for so long he will be as broken as his victim. I am truly disgusted with our judicial system. Releasing these monsters so they may continue their vile abuse & terror on the most weakest susceptible souls. Another corner in Hell is reserved for this human feces. RIP BUFFY. I think this WETBACK (yes, I said it!!!) needs to have someone back their truck back and forth over him. Then dump his ugly body back over the border where it belongs.
