I heard back from the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.
I learned that the VOICELESS VICTIM is a black and white male Pitbull.
His age and name are still unknown.
The furbaby is not in MURILLO’s custody.
~ Original story:
The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office said that on Monday, February 14, an individual taking a walk in Lewisville was followed home by a dog with the remnants of a tethering device attached to his/her neck. The person removed the collar and broken tether from the dog.
The neck area of the furbaby was infected, “presumably caused by the type and constricting nature of the collar”, stated a release by the sheriff’s office.
Thankfully, the person contacted the FCSO, and deputies assigned to the Animal Services Division were dispatched.
Deputies discovered that the collar had been embedded into the dog’s neck so the VOICELESS VICTIM was taken to a local veterinarian to be treated.
An investigation into the incident led to charges filed against 32-years-old KATHERINE PRISCILA MURILLO (pictured below).
The sheriff’s office said that MURILLO, of Lewisville, was charged with cruelty to animals for unlawfully, willfully and intentionally causing an animal to be wounded or injured, which is a Class 1 Misdemeanor.
The subhuman was additionally charged with “violation of Forsyth County Ordinance 6-7(a) where it shall be unlawful for any person to abuse, molest, torture, torment, deprive of necessary sustenance, cruelly beat, mutilate or kill, injure, poison, abandon, or subject to conditions which cause physical pain, suffering, disability or death to any animal, or to cause of procure such action, a Class 3 Misdemeanor”, said the sheriff’s office.
Warrants were obtained for MURILLO’s arrest and she was cuffed on Tuesday, February 22.
She then appeared before a Magistrate where she received a ridiculous $500 secured bond. MURILLO is scheduled to appear in Forsyth County Hall of Justice on March 16, 2022.
As for the VOICELESS VICTIM, he/she has been receiving proper care by the Forsyth Humane Society and is expected to make a full recovery.

Many thanks & much appreciation for the update! Please get better Precious Pitty!
I absolutely love the way the author always calls the sufferer of abuse in this column “VOICELESS VICTIMS”. This is truth. Every one of these Souls are crying out, sometimes seeking help on their own, in perpetual silence. Once rescued, their only purpose is to heal, inside & out, mentally as well as physically. The people who comment are all in for these “Voiceless Victims”. We stand for the precious souls, not only recognizing their rights to a life free of abuse & pain but praising their purpose to please & love humans. This nameless victim sought help on their own & found it in another caring human. Sincere thanks to them, to the humane society & vets who provided…
Dumb as a box of rocks, bitch! Look at the stupid look in her eyes! Leave the earth, please. YOU SUCK!!!! Please don't tell me they're giving the dog back to her. Poor pup. Hope you have a chance at a new, better life.
