JAYMESHIA TRENAY VIGNE finally arrested after being caught on video punching and kicking a stray dog

- Texas, USA -

20-year-old JAYMESHIA TRENAY VIGNE (pictured below), finally in custody.

The female was caught on video cruelly kicking and punching a stray dog.

The incident happened on Friday, October 9, in the 7000 block of Scott Street.

Houston Police Department questioned VIGNE and she told police that she punched and kicked the dog because he attacked her son and knocked him to the ground.

She claimed the dog then jumped in her car, and she attacked the dog to get him out of the vehicle.

Someone from the crowd that formed around her filmed the vile act and the video went viral.

On Thursday, October 15, police and members of the Houston SPCA’s Animal Cruelty Team were in southeast Houston passing out flyers and speaking to residents while searching for the dog.

Thankfully, a Good Samaritan who happened to be caring for the furbaby, saw the flyers and gave the poor soul to the Houston SPCA.

According to the Houston SPCA chief veterinarian Dr. Dev, the dog, now named Max, is less than a year old and still considered a puppy.

Max is now safely in the care of the Houston SPCA, where he underwent a full exam.

For those of you interested in adopting this precious baby, you will have to wait.

You know the drill, Max is currently part of an ongoing cruelty investigation and is not available for adoption just yet.

VIGNE was arrested on Friday, October 16, and charged with cruelty to a non-livestock animal.

She was due to appear before a judge Friday, October 16.

I am happy that someone filmed this act of animal cruelty BUT I want to know why no one intervened to get the poor dog away from VIGNE!!!
