Investigation underway after two dogs were found shot to death, one decapitated in Montgomery County

- Texas, USA -

The animal cruelty unit of the Montgomery County Precinct 2 Constables Office is investigating the murder of two innocent dogs, Diva and Murphy.

The furbabies were found on Friday, April 8, on a railroad track near East Hardy shot to death. Murphy had also been decapitated.

The New York Post reports: “It appears that the dogs were not killed on the railroad tracks but rather dumped there after being shot.”

Both furbabies were microchipped and when they were found, they were still wearing their collars.

Ms. Adrienne Madison told FOX 26 that she adopted Murphy from a shelter five years ago, while Diva, was a neighbor’s pup.

Ms. Madison explained that on Wednesday, April 6, both pups were playing and ran off through an open gate.

She reached out to social media and thought that since Diva and Murphy were chipped and wearing collars, it was only a matter of time before they would be returned.

Sadly, it looks like this was not an isolated incident.

The officer told us there had been similar incidents not too far from that area and not too distant in tone recently”, said Ms. Madison.

She then added: “To me, a person who would commit something that brutal to an innocent animal, probably doesn't have much regard for human life either.”

If you have any information about this gruesome case, I beg you, come forward and speak up for the VOICELESS VICTIMS. Thank you!
