Investigation underway after dog found tied to a tree at Converse North Park

Converse Animal Care Officers are reaching out to the public for information after a dog was found abandoned at Converse North Park.
The furbaby was discovered tied to a tree on the afternoon of Saturday, March 19.
Converse Police have shared the appeal posted on Facebook by Converse Animal Care but did not reveal additional information about the VOICELESS VICTIM.
Part of a post published by Converse Animal Care reads: “This is Animal Cruelty under Texas Penal Code - § 42.092. Cruelty to Nonlivestock Animals and will not be tolerated in the City of Converse.”
Authorities are asking anyone with information about this case to come forward and speak up.

Please find the person who abandoned this beautiful soul to tree! No water, nothing but a short rope. This could have ended in tragedy, but thankfully he was found in time. I pray he finds a loving forever home asap!
