Houston SPCA rescued 136 cats and kittens from an abandoned home in Grimes County

- Texas, USA -

The Houston SPCA Animal Cruelty Investigators rescued 136 cats and kittens, including two pregnant felines, after they were abandoned at a Grimes County home.

Houston SPCA said the felines were left behind after an eviction warrant was served by Grimes County Constable Precinct 2.

Reportedly, the home was filled with debris, feces and urine.

Some of the cats were found hidden inside dressers, closets, walls and the chimney while others were discovered roaming outside”, stated a news release.

All the VOICELESS VICTIMS are now in the care of the Houston SPCA where they are receiving individualized treatment by staff veterinarians.

Needless to say, the Houston SPCA needs help facing this hardship.

As many of you may know, they operate solely on donations and are not affiliated with any other animal welfare organization, locally or nationally.

This appears to be revenge as well as neglect. Abandoning a home with trapped animals knowing full well how the home will be destroyed but especially how the blessed animals will suffer is unforgivable. Find these callous scums & throw the proverbial book at them. Many thanks to the Houston SPCA.
