CBS Miami reports that the Broward Sheriff’s Office said that on Tuesday, October 8, they received a call from a towing company regarding the stolen car and confirmed Zorra was found deceased in the vehicle.
Investigators are awaiting the results of a necropsy.
No arrests have been made at this time but the investigation into the auto theft and death of the furbaby continues.
There is a $3,000 reward being offered by the animal rescue group ‘100+ Abandoned dogs of Everglades Florida’ to anyone who has information on who stole the car and Zorra.
