GREGORY COSBY arrested after his dog died from being tied up without food or water for a month

- Georgia, USA -

On January 18, 2022, Clayton County Police officers went to the 5100 block of Roses of Picardy after a resident alerted them to the condition of their neighbor’s dog.

On the scene, officers found a dog, named Max, who was tied to a tree in the backyard.

Officers said Max was in “grave condition.”

From an investigation it emerged that 54-years-old GREGORY COSBY (pictured below) had left Max tied to the tree without shelter, food or water for more than a month.

The VOICELESS VICTIM was taken to an animal hospital, but sadly died from his injuries.

Clayton News Daily reports that COSBY was arrested on January 27, and charged with aggravated cruelty to animals.

He was taken to the Clayton County Jail and released the following day!

As Clayton News Daily stated, “It is against the law in Clayton County for an animal owner to fail to provide adequate food, fresh water or veterinary care; fail to provide adequate shelter from all types of weather; to keep or confine an animal in other than a humane manner; and to unjustifiably cause death or physical pain or suffering to any animal.”

Furthermore, “Animal owners are also prohibited from restraining a dog by means of a tether, chain, cable, rope, leash or cord which is attached to a fixed object or staked to the ground. According to Georgia law, the offense of aggravated cruelty to animals is when a person knowingly and maliciously causes death or physical harm to animals. The crime is considered a felony in Georgia. The punishment for those convicted is imprisonment for not less than one year or more than five years, and/or a fine not to exceed $15,000."

The blurring on the pictures was added by the police. Voice For Us does not believe in hiding animal cruelty!

RIP MAX. I am so sorry this piece of human waste chose not to feed, water, shelter, & not give you the love you so deserved. May this human maggot feel your pain & suffering here on earth as well as in Hell!
