On Thursday, January 20, Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Deputies went to a home near Hwy. 621 in Gonzales to investigate complaints of animal cruelty.
Deputies found four Pitbulls chained and padlocked in the yard of the property. The VOICELESS VICTIMS were found to be living in poor condition.
Attempts to contact the homeowner failed and animal control was called in.
As reported by FOX8 “After an evaluation and no contact from the owner, all four dogs were removed from the house and taken to a shelter.”
An investigation identified the homeowner as 32-years-old FRANK L. BELL JR. (pictured below).
Reportedly, BELL later admitted the Pitbulls were his.
On January 20, BELL was arrested and booked into the Ascension Parish Jail on four counts of animal cruelty.
Online arrest records show BELL was released less than two hours after his arrest!

Frank Bell, what a ding-dong. Hell's Bells are tolling for him. Looks like he's got that real stanky breath. Thank God those dogs were rescued and relieved of him. Ya think there's a dog fighting operation going on there?
