- Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, USA -

Ex-cop 28-year-old DAMON BRONSTETTER will not serve any jail time for beating his puppy with a piece of wood. The incident happened in 2018.

BRONSTETTER did not serve nor protect a defenseless 10-month-old German Shepherd causing the furbaby bleeding and a tear in his fur. He was charged with a misdemeanor cruelty to animals.

On Friday, September 27, the accused pleaded guilty to the charge but Lancaster County Judge David Ashworth only sentenced him to two years of probation, 100 hours of community service, and ordered a mental health evaluation and treatment.

The accused has also been banned from having a pet during probation.

On a separate case which is not animal related, BRONSTETTER is also accused of grabbing a woman’s arm, pinning her to the ground and putting his hands around her neck.
