El Paso Police Department searches for answers in a macabre display of a dead Poodle

Investigators with the Police Department's Animal Cruelty Unit are asking for the public's help after a small Poodle was discovered deceased, tied up in a cruel manner, and propped against a residential fence.


On Saturday, April 11, El Paso Police Department was called to the corner of Davis Drive and Doorbandt Circle in the Lower Valley near Ysleta High School.


Responding officers learned that a small poodle was dead after having been tied up in what they describe as “a cruel manner.”


The furbaby was then propped up against the fence.


Police say the incident happened sometime between 8 p.m. Friday, April 10, and 10 a.m. Saturday, April 11.
