Dog found malnourished and covered in pink paint returned to guardian

- Ohio, Cuyahoga County, USA -

The South Euclid Police Department were investigating after a dog was found malnourished and covered in pink paint.

The Department wrote in a Facebook post that Notre Dame College students discovered the furbaby near College Road in South Euclid.

Police took in the abused dog and fed him.

The Department was hoping to reunite the dog with his guardian as long as the guardian was not responsible for the abuse.

19 News reports that on the afternoon of Sunday, September 13, the dog was then returned to his guardian and police said no charges have been filed.
