A dog is lucky to be alive after he was found buried under a pile of trash at a City of Phoenix transfer station.
Sanitation workers discovered the furbaby on October 8, and Maricopa Animal Care and Control responded to the scene.
They reached out to ‘Home Fur Good’ to see whether they could take the dog.
The pup, now named Oscar, had surgery on his leg and has a crushed pelvis.
‘Two Pups Wellness Foundation’ is assisting in covering medical costs.
Oscar is recovering in a foster home and will soon be ready for adoption.
It’s still unknown how this handsome furbaby got injured and who dumped him.
